2011 starts our 8th year of tango lesson in the Netherlands and coupled with our previous teaching in the US that is quite a number of students we have brought from novices to very creative and happy dancers. With each year, we too refine our teaching skills, so that beginners starting today are learning skills in less time. Learning tango is not that difficult, but creating the deeper essence of the dance is a long journey and one that has no time limit.
As you browse through the pages, you will see we offer smaller instruction blocks. In our experience, six lesson hours gives you a nice basis that you can build on with subsequent lesson blocks. We also realize not everyone is prepared to make a long commitment of 10, 12 or 14 lessons, so a smaller lesson block will offer you, the student, flexability. Een Liefde voor Tango offers weekly classes in four cities (Lessons 2011), so have a look at day and time for your particular level.
To augment our programme, we offer monthly practise salons to help you work on your technique, navigation and musicality. Questions are welcomed during these practice sessions, so to help you retain your lesson material, we will be using our Nuevo Basics blog. This was introduced a few years back to help our very experienced classes with detailed information about lesson material. We will use the same site to present lesson material for all our locations.
If you are not currently enrolled for our classes, then do send an email note and be placed on our mailing list. Once a month, you will be kept up to date with news of workshops, visiting instructors and salon tips. The salon tips are suggested places where you can dance to great music and find other good dancers to tango with.

Private lessons are a nice option if you do not have a partner at the moment. The purpose of private lessons is not only to sharpen your technique, musicality and creativity, but definately a fast way to bring you to the next level. Private lessons are held mostly in Amersfoort, but there are options for private lesson in Den Bosch or Amsterdam.
